Nikko Fri 31 Oct_51

Looking down from the back of the main shrine in Nikko as I walked back down. Note that the building all the way to the left has a horse for display, or 'employed' for 4 hours per day, a white horse donated by the Maori people of New Zeland to Japan as a representation of their old ritual of 'Sending the Horses back to the essence.'
